Directions
Luton Airport is directly connected to the M1 at Junction 10. If you are travelling on the M25, use Junction 10 to join the M1. Travelling from the East, the airport is best accessed via the A505 through Hitchin.

On Arrival
Directions
From the North, M1 Southbound:
- Leave the M1 at junction 10 and take the first exit onto Airport Way A1081.
- Keep left and follow signs for St Albans, Harpenden A1081, joining London Road.
- Continue on the A1081 towards St Albans for around three quarters of a mile.
- Turn right towards Slip End, following signs for Newlands Road or Half Moon Lane as signposted.
- At the traffic lights, turn right onto Grove Road.
- Take the first left onto the service road signposted Airparks. The car park is on the right after approximately 100 metres.
From the South, M1 Northbound:
- Leave the M1 at junction 9 and take the first exit onto the A5183 towards Dunstable.
- After around 2 miles, turn right at the traffic lights onto the B4540 towards Luton.
- Continue for approximately 1.5 miles into Slip End village.
- At the traffic lights, turn left onto Grove Road.
- Take the first left onto the service road signposted Airparks. The car park is on the right after approximately 100 metres.
Arrival Instructions
Drive up to the entrance barrier, which will lift automatically. At the second barrier, press the green button to enter, your vehicle’s condition will be recorded for safety and security as you arrive. Park in an arrivals bay and head to the check-in building. Use the self-service machine to check in, have your booking confirmation ready. The machine will issue a tag and a ticket. Attach the tag to your keys, keep the ticket safe, and place your keys in the key drop box that matches your lane number. Your car will be parked for you. Make your way to the waiting area and board the transfer bus to the airport, showing your ticket to the driver.
On Return
Catch the shuttle bus back to Airparks from bay E (you'll need to show the driver the ticket you were given when you arrived) Make your way to the check-out shelter and follow the instructions on the key dispenser The machine will give you your key back and show you on the screen where your car is Find your car and drive to the exit barrier - you'll need to insert your ticket to scan the barcode attached to your keys, and then the barrier will lift If you lose your ticket, you'll need to go to reception, answer some security questions, then show a photo ID, so make sure you have one with you.
